Details

: Let's help protect the 1000 mature trees in East River Park. The City plans to spend years building a giant levee with a park on top that will have more concrete and artificial turf and saplings. The ESCR dismisses the value of our trees and greenery, which cool and clean our air and provides habitat for innumerable creatures and relief for residents of our crowded Lower East Side.

Please call 212-788-7210 and come to City Hall Park to tell Corey Johnson to allow the oversight hearing for the ESCR project at East River Park.
