Dear friends,

Please join us at City Hall this

Wednesday, October 18th at noon

for a rally in support of

, the No More 24 Act.

In New York City, crimes are being committed against thousands of immigrant women of color who are forced to work 24 hours a day with no breaks, caring for elderly, ill and disabled individuals. This has caused permanent damage to their bodies, their health, and their families. These women also suffer wage theft, as employers steal 11 hours of pay for each 24-hour shift, amounting to billions over the years.

The No More 24 Act was introduced by our

and comes out of years of organizing with the home attendants themselves who seek basic dignity in their workplace. Despite hundreds of workers calling on her, Speaker Adams continues to refuse to bring the bill to a vote.

We can't wait any longer! The health of these workers is at stake!

We are asking all of our friends and contacts to show support by spreading the word, signing the petition

and attending the rally this Wednesday.
