This month we will get updates on the current campaigns our members are participating in including the Jing Fong Picket (ongoing: every Wednesday-Sunday 11am to 2pm), the mural project, Save East River Park, NYCHA working group and more.  We will also hear about artists in Fall River, MA who are facing issues of art washing and gentrification. 

Our monthly meeting is the second Tuesday of every month. All are welcome!

HAPPENING NOW! Testify against SOHO/NOHO UPZONING

 

Tune into the City Council hearing happening NOW!Tell the City Council Why You Oppose DCP’s Proposed Up-Zoning Plan for SoHo, NoHo & Chinatown. We urge you to:

TESTIFY at the Zoom hearing, Tuesday Nov. 9th (estimated start time, 11:30am).

  • REGISTER TO TESTIFY HEREYou may register up to, and during, the hearing.  Speaking limited to only 2 minutes each.

  • SUBMIT WRITTEN TESTIMONY HERE directly email your local city council representative, as well as all individual council members HERE.  ANYONE CAN TESTIFY.  Written testimony may be submitted up to 72-hours after the hearing, and can be as long as you need to convey your story and share your alarm.

Tell the City Council why the Mayor’s Plan does not work.Speak from the heart.

Thursday: Vigil for Climate Justice
