After 12 years at Seward Park Library, Andrew Fairweather is moving on to the the Stavros Niarchos Library in Midtown. Andrew has been a constant presence at our monthly meetings since we began convening at the Seward Park branch in 2017. He also contributed his formidable talents to our art builds and agitprop, as demonstrated above and below. Thank you for your contributions, Andrew, and best wishes for your next chapter — we’ll miss you!

This Friday, April 11, at 6pm, members of ABC No Rio, the legendary anarchist-punk artist collective, will be giving us a walkthrough of their 45th anniversary show at the Emily Harvey Foundation (537 Broadway). Join us!Check out the exhibition website for additional on- and offsite programming throughout the month.

In response to Columbia University’s craven repression of student dissent, we urge artists and cultural workers to boycott Columbia and refuse to participate in events held there, including at its School of the Arts; Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP); and Wallach Art Gallery. Sign the statement here! As one of our members recently told Hyperallergic, “We all have a stake in this, especially if we’re people who value creative expression.”
